Israel is under attack…

It’s always disturbing when people try to blame the victim. When they claim it’s the woman’s fault because she was raped they victimize her again, and when people claim its Israel’s fault then they victimize them again, but to understand the argument you have to go back a bit.

November 29, 1947

The United Nations declared a partition plan for Palestine. They decided to create separate states for Arabs and Jews. This wasn’t just some random decision to victimize the Palestinians. You see during World War 2 Palestinian leadership actively supported the Nazis. The Grand Mufti was a huge supporter of Hitler. He met Hitler several times and was reported to have complained about guards working the gas chambers, and his complaint was that they weren’t working diligently enough.

The Mufti planned to bring the holocaust to Palestine with the Nazi’s aid. The Palestinian government was an active participant in the war, and when the war ended they were treated accordingly. Japan lost Taiwan, Germany lost all the territory it had taken over, and they also lost territory prior to the war. This is the cost of losing a war. So Palestine also had to pay a cost for its participation in the war. That cost was that there would now be a Jewish state in Israel.

May 15, 1948

Israel had become a Jewish state only one day prior to this, and Arab countries attacked. Egyps, Syria, Transjordan, and Iraq attacked Israel. Shortly afterwards Morocco, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan joined in. This was a concentrated attempt to eliminate the Jewish stated from establishing itself at the very beginning. After a year a ceasefire was declared, and borders were drawn up. By May 11, 1949 Israel was declared a member of the United Nations.

Palestinian Fedayeen

In the 1950’s Palestinian militants began attacking Israelis. They almost always targeted civilians . Of course even then Israel was defending itself as you can see from the picture above where the Israeli police are inspecting the bodies of Fedayeen attackers. Their whole purpose was to destroy Jewish Israel and rebuild a Palestinian state. They attacked from the Egyptian controlled Gaza Strip, and of course this was countered by Israeli raids. During this time Egypt closed the Suez canal to Israel. Israel, with the aid of France and the United Kingdom, took the Sinai peninsula. It was only when the United Nations guaranteed Israel shipping rights did Israel withdraw.

1967

Arab nationalists refused to recognize Israel and began calling for it’s destruction. (You’re probably seeing a trend by now.) Egypt blocked Israel’s access to the Red Sea, and other countries began amassing in a plan to attack Israel. Israel made a pre-emptive strike. Israel attacked Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. In the war they took the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Sinai Peninsula.

On October 6, 1973 the Egyptian and Syrian armies attacked Israel, and by October 26 Israel repelled the attacking armies. Time and time again Palestinians and other countries, terrorist organisations, and angry lone wolves attacked Israel, and every time Israel defended themselves. That leads us back to…

NOW…

Palestine is teaching their children that Jews are evil. They advocate killing Jews, and they are even teaching children how to stab Jews. It is no surprise then that Israeli is being attacked by Palestinians with knives. On top of that the Palestinians are trying to portray the attackers as the victims, and the Israelis as the evil ones. Think about that for a moment. In what reality does the person attacking you become the victim? You wouldn’t pity the rapist over the raped, or the murderer over the murdered so why would you show preference to the attackers over the victims?

This is the video the Palestinians are showing to their people.

But this is the truth about what actually happened. That boy you see was running around stabbing innocent Israelis. The video you saw was after his brother was finally shot and a car struck the boy in the video. The boy wasn’t some innocent kid being brutalized by the Israelis, but he was a vicious attacker. The real victims were the Israelis, and the anger you hear directed at that boy is completely valid.

To add insult to injury the Palestinians have been claiming that the Israelis just let that boy die. They’ve used it as a rallying cry to encourage more people to attack Israel. Here is the real fate of that murderous child.

The truth about the situation is that Israel belongs to the Israelis. They’ve fought, they’ve bled, and they’ve died for it. They deserve it. It was theirs from the beginning when God gave it them. Joshua 21:43 – So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.

So it was Israel’s from the beginning. It is Israel’s land now. All these attempts are not just a misguided attempt to regain land lost in multiple wars, but they are attempts to take away something that God gave to the Israelis. God may have occasionally cast the Jews out, but it was always temporary. The land was, is, and until God says otherwise will always be for the Jews.

But there is another point to make. Despite everything there would be peace tomorrow if the Palestinians would stop attacking. Israel has made every effort to coexist with Palestine. They only defend themselves from the attacks of Arabs. They have taken areas time and time again only to give it back when they make the area safe. Whether it is blowing up tunnels Palestinians use to attack Israelis, or destroying locations that Palestinians use to launch attacks into Israel. The Israelis have shown far more restraint towards ever aggressive attackers than any other country in the world, and all the while they are accused of horrible crimes as though they were the attackers. Every action Israel has taken is a direct result of Palestinian and other Arab actions. It can’t be stressed enough that if tomorrow the Arab aggressors stopped attacking tomorrow then the Israelis would cease immediately. Peace could be had any moment just by respecting Israels right to exist. If an Arab country or organization refuses to do this minimal requirement then no request or statement made by them should be given any credibility. No negotiations can be made when one side’s position is that the other side must not even exist.

Palestine has portrayed themselves as a victim, and that’s a lie. Much of the world supports that idea, and that’s a damn lie. Israel deserves to be acknowledged by their enemies, and they deserve the right to live in peace and harmony without wicked monsters attacking them at every opportunity. That’s the truth.
